D4Y eCommerce Case Study: Journey from start to performance in 60 days

D4Y eCommerce Case Study: Journey from start to performance in 60 days

In this article we will look at the typical journey of done for you client within our agency.

We've create the Done For You Program to support aspiring entrepreneurs who want to start an eCommerce dropshipping business from scratch

The idea came from our prospects who often blown significant amounts of money of bad products and poor marketing strategies while trying to execute on their own.

One of our most recent clients came in with the same scenario described above. So we've on boarded him on the 1st of March 2020.

Client came to us with a general store dull, boring and no direction on what products to sell.

We've moved into the research mode and found him one mid ticket product, with  healthy profit margins, and most importantly available to be  dropshishipped from the US directly.

    And here's what happened next:

We've built them a store that converts at around 1.8% (pretty low but very good for a general store)

As you can see in this screenshot, they weren't making any sales before we took them over

Build up of the store took 6 days and once done, we've immediately started to run ads

We've got a few inconsistent sales quick and optimized further to close the month with daily sales as the graph and the numbers are showing above.

This is very common when we try new audiences at the beginning on an Facebook ads account with zero data. But things change as we go.

We did almost 8.7K USD in sales next month, in April while testing new things and battling with stock issues.

We've basically sold out two main vendors caring US stocks during COVID-19 days.

The product was't in any way related with virus essentials like masks, gloves etc.

In fact it was a cool product that no one else was advertising on Facebook, but it solved a bigger problem then masks or gloves at that time.

As you can see product research, analyzing and researching trends is an important part of this program. And that can be attributed to years of hands on experience having seen and understanding what works and why.

We are now in May and we are already at almost 9K USD and super-profitable:

The ROAS for this month stabilized averaging 7X across 6 wining ad sets:

ROAS is in fact higher as Facebook doesn't record all conversions coming from tags or most of the on-page upsells.

So the net profit on this month, after cost of ordered goods, is around $4.5K for this client, and they are all good and ready to be moved on performance starting next month.

This is the typical journey of a client with us. After an initial investment and 2 to 3 months working with us, they have a profitable business and we are willing move them on performance wher ethey just pay us a% of their sales to keep it going and scale.

Once on performance, we are committed to boosting their ROAS by implementing email marketing and Google Shopping ads.

It is important I mentioned I won't be able to show you guys stores that we've built the same way we will not show your store to other potential clients.

Plus each store is different based around products and niche.

That said, we will work closely with you to build a store you would be proud to own accommodating as many revisions as you suggest.

If you found this article interesting and always wanted to start an online business, our D4Y eCommerce program might be a good fit for you.
